FAQs
What wines do you offer?
There are great wines that are household names, and not-so-great wines with sexy labels.
Both can be expensive.
WyneTyme is your “Access Pass” to under-the-radar wines that are favorites of sommeliers and wine experts. These treasures from smaller growers and family wineries debut on menus of the finest restaurants rather than a grocery store bin. Our relationships in the wine industry are now YOUR relationships in the wine industry.
How do you have access to these wines?
Well, we’re fancy like that. *wink*
Seriously, though, we get our wines directly from an importer who has spent years cultivating relationships with growers all over the world and searching for wines that will help chefs, sommeliers, and collectors stand out. The pandemic made it clear that expanding direct-to-consumer would provide these remarkable producers another reliable consumer base.
Where do these wines come from?
WyneTyme sources wine from winemakers around the world, mostly family-owned or privately-held wineries. Our wines come from California, Oregon, France, South Africa, Argentina, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, and Australia. Each of the wines will be labeled with a Wine Diary QR Code so you can (sustainably) learn more about its origin.
Seriously, we understood the assignment.
What makes WyneTyme so special and different?
WyneTyme uses decades of expertise sampling, serving, and importing the best wines in the world to select just the right ones for you or your giftee. Plus, we have access to some truly kick@ss wines (see also “sampling, serving, and importing”). The wines we choose aren’t mass produced or private labeled versions of ones you can get anywhere. Amazing wines shouldn’t only be available to the best restaurant and collector elite.
So, we did something about it.
How Does It Work?
It’s pretty easy… start by browsing wine themes curated by interest.
Or, if you’re looking for a gift, we also match wines to personalities and hue-preference.
Selections have two-bottle and four-bottle offerings. You place an order and we handpick your selections and then deliver to your doorstep. Once you receive your wines, scan the QR code on the bottle to learn more about your wine. Cheers, Darling.
Will I get the same wines everytime I order?
Tricky question… Our wines are matched to themes. If you re-order and we still have those wines, you’ll get the same bottles. If a theme is very popular, we may exhaust the wines chosen for that theme.
In some cases, we’ll continue the wine collection with other perfectly paired wines. In others, we’ll discontinue that theme and launch a new one.
My Order
Why order just 2 or 4 wines online?
Our wines aren’t available by tonnage. Many come from smaller growers, family wineries, or reserved collections. We identify the right themes for the wines and offer them until they are sold out. Some collections will be limited time offers, while some will live on with newly chosen wines that also match the theme perfectly.
I loved the wine I received! Can I order more?
Yes! If the Collection you loved is still available, you can always order more.
Or, if you want a specific bottle, you can email us at info@wynetyme.com. If that wine is still available, we will provide a pricing quote, and then organize a shipment.
Can I add a gift note to an order?
Yes! Write your note in the text box provided in the shopping cart. We’ll hand-write your note and tuck it into the packaging for your giftee.
If you forgot to include a note, don’t hesitate to contact us at help@wynetyme.com and we can take care of it!
Will I be charged sales tax?
Yes. Sales tax varies by state and will be calculated at check-out based on your ship-to address. Your total price will reflect the sales tax in your locale.
Can I order a case* of wine instead of 2 or 4 bottles?
*Says every best friend we have!
Our wine is curated to give the maximum enjoyment to the most people. That said, if we have the supply - we’d be happy to share more of a favorite wine. You can email us at info@wynetyme.com. If that wine is still available, we will provide a pricing quote, and then organize a shipment.

Shipping questions
Where do you ship?
WyneTyme currently ships to the contiguous United States with the exception of Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Utah. Sign up for our newsletter to be first to know when we add new states!
Are there any zip codes you cannot ship to in Florida?
There are a handful of “dry” zip codes in Florida that do not permit the shipment of wines. These zip codes include Day (32013), Mayo (32066), Bristol (32321), Hosford (32334), Sumatra (32335), Telogia (32360), Caryville (32427), Ebro (32437), Wausau (32463), Chipley (32428), and Vernon (32462).
How long will it take to receive my wine shipment?
Shipping typically takes 2-5 business days.
PLEASE NOTE: We do not ship orders on Thursday or Friday during Summer months. Orders placed after 11am CST on Wednesdays, will ship the following Monday.
Will somebody need to sign for my or my gift recipient’s shipment?
Yes. The delivery carrier will require a signature of legal drinking age in order to make the delivery. If you or your gift recipient are not able to be home to sign for your wine shipments, we strongly suggest having your wine shipments sent to an office or business address where an adult of legal drinking age is available to sign for the shipments. If you aren’t there to receive your shipment the first time, the carrier will try delivering the package two more times, or you can request that it be sent to a nearby holding location where you can conveniently pick it up.
PLEASE NOTE: Amid the Covid-19 pandemic, our preferred carriers have adjusted their protocol for your safety and provide contactless delivery. In other words, you’ll temporarily no longer be required to sign.
Why do you suggest having wine shipments sent to an office or business address?
Wine shipments require a signature of legal drinking age in order to make the delivery. If you or your gift recipient work outside the home and are able to receive personal packages at their place of business, we strongly suggest having your wine order shipped to an office or business address as most company mail rooms have the ability to sign for incoming shipments.
PLEASE NOTE: Amid the Covid-19 pandemic, our preferred carriers have adjusted their protocol for your safety and provide contactless delivery. In other words, you’ll temporarily no longer be required to sign.
